Actually, the second half of the plane was too low in the water to inflate the rafts/evac slides.
I would be happy to stand on a wing. Because that means I didn’t die from fatal crushing injuries + drowning + probably some burning + what the hell, throw in a decapitation.
I love how uninformed class-warriors fly off the handle. As anon said, The back half of the plane was submerged and the safety equipment wasn’t in working order(as was stated on numerous cases by every single news outlet that covered it). Granted, economy class is nothing more than steerage, but in this image, it’s not at all the case.
I dont think anyone was flying off the handle, I think we recognized it was a joke, and found the joke funny because there is a grain of truth to it, not because we believe that regular passengers are left to die.
