The whole world has gone “low fat” crazy — and most people think that if they just begin eating low fat foods then their bodies will have less fat too.

Sounds logical right?

Wrong.

You see, the problem with this type of thinking is that there is no “direct” relationship between fat calories eaten and fat tissue on a person’s body.

The truth is that your body
can convert ANY type of calorie to fat tissue, not just fat calories.

For example, if you eat 2 lbs. of sugar every day then you’ll probably gain some fat tissue after a while - but yet sugar has ZERO FAT CALORIES in it. So eating 2 lbs. of sugar every day is a “fat free” diet, but yet you’d still gain fat.

Likewise, if you eat a huge bowl of white rice at every single meal then you’d soon gain fat tissue on your body - but yet this is a fat free food too.

So what does that tell you about eating fat free foods?

Not only that, but there are plenty of low fat cakes, cookies and desserts sold at every grocery store. Yet, do you honestly think that these foods are “healthy” merely because they are low in fat?

Of course not, and you’ll gain extra fat if you eat too much of them.

In fact, our entire society has been eating low fat foods in greater quantity over the last decade - but yet our society is still getting fatter and fatter. So that should tell you something about low fat diets.

You should stop thinking “non fat” and “low fat”- since those are just buzz words designed to make you feel as though such foods are healthy.

The truth is that you don’t need to worry about “fat” calories so much, and you also don’t need to worry about total “carbs” so much either…

What you need to worry about is the exact types of foods that you combine together at each meal, so that you get the proper portion of fat calories and carbs at each meal - which will maximize weight loss.

To begin losing weight fast we recommend using the new Idiot Proof Diet from Fat Loss 4 Idiots — because it’s not based on “low fat” foods.

In fact, it’s not based on “low calories” either, and it’s also not based on “low carbs” (since low carb diets don’t work very well)… The Idiot Proof Diet is a brand new type of diet never seen before, so give it a try and watch the pounds come off fast.

From now on I will only send emails with a cultural or educational content such as old monuments, nature and other interesting structures. Below you’ll see a picture of the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris.

For those of you who are interested, Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in Paris and took 26 years to build. Construction began in 1578 and ended in 1604. ‘Le Pont Neuf’ is actually made of 2 independent bridges, one with seven arches and the other with five arches.
Well you maybe trying to do so in the wrong season? There are many of us today are struggling with being overweight. It almost seems impossible at times to shed just a few pounds. What a lot of people don’t realize is that there are better seasons than others to start the weight loss process.

Did you actually know that wintertime is the best time to lose weight? Why?

In winter your body has to use much more energy/calories (used synonymously here) in cold weather than it does in warm weather to keep you warm, therefore, a lot more calories are used than in the warmer months. If you start a weight loss program in the colder months, you don’t have to focus as much on exercise to help shed those pounds because the weather is naturally doing it for you.

Look at hibernating animals do, they use their stored fat during the winter months to take them into the spring.

So if you have the right diet plan that helps you lose weight fast without having to exercise much during the weight loss process, add to that the bonus of your body naturally burning off extra calories during the winter months. You are going to lose some serious weight!

Well, what about all the holidays to overcome? The average American gains anywhere from 8 to 10 pounds during the holiday season. But that doesn’t have to be the case. I have managed to stay within my target weight range within 1 to 3 pounds during the holiday season. And believe me, I didn’t deprive myself from any of the holiday goodies. So how did I do it you might ask?

To help achieve your winter weight loss goals, I recommend you check out a weight loss program which focuses on your menu plan and exercise to get you to your target weight. And once you’ve reached your target weight, the program will teach you how to maintain your weight for a lifetime.

I know a person who lost 60 pounds in 11 weeks and has maintained his weight now for over six years. Now those are awesome results! And guess what? He started the diet in November, skipped happily through the Christmas holidays, enjoyed all the foods he normally would, and by the end of the winter, just in time for Spring, he had reached more than his target weight!

So when trying to reach your weight loss goals, try to start in the winter months and you’ll have jump started the weight loss process.

Yves Rossy 49, touched down in a field on top of the white cliffs of Dover after completing the 35- kilometer journey over one of biggest shipping lanes.

He had nothing above him but four tanks of kerosene and nothing below him but the cold waters of the English Channel. But Yves Rossy leapt from a plane and into the record books on Friday, crossing the channel on a homemade jet-propelled wing.

Rossy jumped from the plane about 8,200 feet over Calais, France, blasting across the narrow body of water and deploying his parachute over the South Foreland lighthouse, delighting onlookers who dotted Dover’s famous white cliffs, cheering and waving as Rossy came into view.

Backed by a gentle breeze, Rossy crossed the Channel in 13 minutes, averaging 125 miles per hour. In a final flourish, he did a figure eight as he came over England, although the wind blew him away from his planned landing spot next to the lighthouse.

“It was perfect. Blue sky, sunny, no clouds, perfect conditions,” the Swiss pilot said after touching down in an adjacent field. He said he wanted to show, “it is possible to fly, a little bit, like a bird.”

Onlookers scooped up their children, picnics and dogs to race to the landing site as Rossy posed for photographs. His ground crew doused him with champagne, and the pilot swigged greedily from the bottle as he waved to the band of onlookers gathered to cheer him and take pictures with cell phone cameras.

A small airplane zipped across the sky with a banner that read: “Well done Jet Man.”
Rossy said he had watched passenger ferries cutting a path between the Britain and France as he tore through the air.

“I was happy to be faster than them,” he said. He said the Channel crossing was the realization of a dream. “That’s the most gratifying thing you can do,” he said. Rossy’s trip - twice delayed due to bad weather - was meant to trace the route of French aviator Louis Bleriot, the first person to cross the narrow body of water in an airplane 99 years ago.

The Channel has attracted a range of adventurers and stuntmen over the years, most drawn to the 21-mile wide neck of water between Dover and Calais.

Frenchman Jean-Pierre Blanchard and American doctor John Jeffries were the first to fly from Britain to mainland Europe in a hot air balloon in 1785.

Rossy’s wing was made from carbon composite. It weighs about 121 pounds when loaded with fuel and carried four kerosene-burning jet turbines. The contraption has no steering devices. Rossy, a commercial airline pilot by training, wiggled his body back and forth to control the wing’s movements.
He wore a heat-resistant suit similar to that worn by firefighters and racing drivers to protect him from the heat of the turbines. The cooling effect of the wind and high altitude also prevented him from getting too warm.

Rossy, who spent months preparing for the cross-Channel flight, has said he wants to fly across the Grand Canyon in Arizona next.

As for the 13 lonely minutes he spent aloft between England and France, he assured reporters he felt no fear.

“I was under tension. But fear? The day I fear, I don’t go,” Rossy said

However, there has been little mention as to what foods can be eaten that will specifically aid in breast cancer prevention.

The following are top five foods. This are not listed in any order of importance so feel free to mix and match as it relates to your specific needs and diet.

The first food is tomatoes. Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C and unsalted help in preventing breast as well as prostate cancer in men. There are also good for helping prevent cardiovascular disease. “The redder, the better” as my Mom used to say.

Next there is nuts. These include peanuts as well as almond fruit. The main benefit can be seen in an increase of good cholesterol while lowering the bad cholesterol. As someone who has this particular problem, this is a good thing. However, you must be careful not to overdo it as you will gain weight.

Another good food is oats. Oats aid in lowering cholesterol and are full of fiber, which helps in digestion as well. A recommended intake is 35 grams.

One of the absolute best foods to eat, not just for breast cancer prevention but for general vitality is garlic. Garlic is rich in antioxidants, and can help prevent other forms of cancer as well. Garlic is one of the best choices one can make when designing a healthy diet.

Lastly, wine is helpful as well. Red wine specifically contains tannin, which can inhibit bacterial growth. It contains Vitamin C, E, and carotene, has anti-oxidation function, can effectively prevent cataracts, immune barriers, artery atherosclerosis, cardiovascular and cerebral vascular diseases and cancers. A glass a day is recommended.

Tips & Warnings
•	Some researchers feel that there is no scientific proof that eating or avoiding certain foods can help prevent breast cancer but when you follow the steps above, you will also be helping to prevent other chronic diseases such as heart disease, osteoporosis, type-II diabetes, and obesity.
•	Remember to also maintain your annual appointments with your OB/GYN, keep to your mammogram schedule, and perform monthly self-exams.
•	Only about 5% of women with breast cancer have a hereditary form of this disease. These women usually develop breast cancer before menopause and have several family members with the disease as well.
•	Choose from the two monounsaturated cooking oils; olive oil and canola oil. Use olive oil for pasta salads, salad dressing, and Italian and Mediterranean recipes and use canola oil for oven frying, stir-frying, baking and sauteing.
•	Researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health, after pooling the results of six international studies, estimated that drinking 2 to 5 alcoholic drinks a day raises a woman’s risk of getting breast cancer by more than 40% compared to nondrinkers.

Disclaimer: don’t take the suggestions in this article seriously. The suggestions here are all for entertainment purposes only.

1. Mess with their head
This one’s usually the most fun to implement; you can let your creativity go wild. Let your roommate come back to your apartment and “catch” you watching midget porn. Even better, have a friend well-versed at video-editing software edit you into the midget porn movie. Leave issues of some questionable magazines out in the open. Get caught rolling around in your roommate’s bed wearing women’s underwear (if you’re a guy). The world is really your oyster on this one.

2. Scare them
Another classic. Let him see you reading books, reading articles, and watching movies about how to get away with murder. Buy some knives and start stabbing some of the people in your roommate’s photographs. Draw bulls-eyes around his/her friends and write dates next to them.

3. Attack their fears
This requires some actual getting-to-know your roommate. Hopefully at this point in the co-living relationship, you have some idea of their main phobias. Are they afraid of animals? Why not surprise them on Halloween and throw 100 rabid squirrels on their bed?

4. Be super clingy
Nothing freaks somebody out like a guy/girl who is attached to their hip. Always ask where they’re going when they leave the apartment and ask if you can tag along. If they say no, just follow behind them. When the roommate gets to their final destination, you should somehow “accidentally” bump into them there.

5. Watch them while they sleep
This one takes some patience. While they’re sleeping, just pull up a chair and sit right in front of their face. Prepare a dirty, heavy breathing sound (think Hannibal Lecter combined with Darth Vader) and use it at a moderate volume. If you have no luck waking them up, don’t be afraid to kick up the volume a few notches. When they wake up, act like you’re stumbling around for a story, and then ask “Can I borrow a pencil?”

6. Get sociopathic
This one’s also fun. Never talk to your roommate directly. If you need to talk to him, go to a different room and call him on your cellular phone. If he tries talking to you directly, tell your imaginary friend to tell your roommate your response. Never make eye contact with him/her.

7. True Love
Take a bunch of pictures of your roommate. Bring one of the pictures (preferably with them wearing as little clothing as possible) to Kinko’s and have them blow up the picture to as big of a banner as possible and post it above your bed. Also, keep a bottle of lube and a box of Kleenex next to your bed. Try to cover up as much surface area on the rest of your walls with the other pictures of your roommate.

8. Go Single White Female
Dye and cut your hair to the same style as your roommate. Get a new wardrobe that completely matches your roommate’s and make sure you wear exactly what they wear that day. If they have any kitschy phrases that they use, make sure you pick those up and start using them as often as possible.

9. Become a Nudist
One day out of the blue (preferably when his/her parents or relatives are visiting), take off all of your clothes and announce that you have become a nudist. Make sure to sit as close as possible to your roommate whenever you can and rub up against him/her. Do the same with their friends.

10. Blend
Keep a hamster and some goldfish in your living room. Blend a Metamucil shake every morning, saying that you need more fiber in your diet. One day, get rid of your hamster and add a lot of ketchup into your shake. Make sure your roommate sees you drinking it and say “you had a good run” while you chug the shake. The next day, get rid of the goldfish and do the same.
I can almost guarantee that after implementation of all 10 of these steps, you will get rid of your roommate. Of course, there are millions of other ways to accomplish the same goal. Use some creativity and have some fun.
