Women are from Venus as they say, so you will never really know whether they like men to be clean shaven, bearded, having a stubble or whatever, however we have some interesting facts for you.
Men have always wondered should I shave or let it grow. They wonder “Do women find me more attractive with a beard or a clean shave”? Stubble is the way to win a woman’s heart, a study has shown. Researchers in Britain have carried out the study and found that women are more attracted to men with stubbly chins than those with clean-shaven faces or full beards.
The explanation for the preference is not clear, but experts in human evolution say that that facial hair may be a signal of aggression because it boosts the apparent size of the lower jaw, emphasizing the teeth as weapons. According to the researchers, stubbly men offer women the best worlds — not too strongly masculine, but mature and with the potential to grow a full beard.

In their study, the researchers altered pictures of 15 men’s faces so that they showed various degrees of hairiness, using latest computer technology. Five levels of facial hair were used — clean-shaven, light stubble, heavy stubble, light beard and full beard.
The pictures were shown to women and were asked to rate them for masculinity, aggression, dominance, age, social maturity and attractiveness. They were asked how desirable each man would be as a short-term or long-term partner.
The participants rated men with stubble as tough, mature, aggressive, dominant and masculine — and as the best romantic partners, either for a fling or even for a long-term relationship, the researchers found.
Though faces with full beards were chosen to be the most masculine, aggressive and socially mature, they’re rated the least attractive and worst choice for a short-term fling.
And what’s surprising is that clean-shaven men finished bottom for masculinity, dominance, aggression, and social maturity, and they were the least favoured choice as a long-term partner. They’re second-to-last for attractiveness.
Facial hair may have been sexually selected by females on the basis of associated male success, despite its threatening appearance. Clean-shaven faces, therefore, suggest appeasement and being an obvious sign of sexual immaturity.
Increasing levels of facial hair were associated with increased perceptions of aggression, in that bearded face’s perceived as being most aggressive, whilst clean-shaven faces were rated as being the least aggressive.
And as facial hair increased in linear fashion so did female ratings of masculinity and dominance. In desirability for a short-term relationship, a female preference for male faces with stubble or light beard was found, with clean-shaven and fully bearded faces being the least preferred.
This indicates that females are not selecting faces displaying relatively high or low masculinity, but rather prefer males who are clearly matured — post-pubertal — but not too masculine. The same pattern was found for preferences for long-term relationship.

I also read about this on web somewhere and I did not suprise me.
In the early part of this year out of bordem I did not shave for a few weeks (so I had what could be called a very light beard). It was also the middle of winter so I was mainly wearing a thick set wool jumper and big old boots.
One point I noticed (which is not going to pass a man by) is the looks I was getting from females. It was like the stubble and look was stiring up some dormant primeval lust at my paternal look. Very interesting.
There are lots of aspects like this that always get females attention. Like when you sit, take up as much space as you can with arms spread out….and yes you guessed legs spread out.
Another one of my old faves is to gently place your hand to the curve of a girls back if a situation arises where they are people pushing past or she is unsteady on her feet.
Should I also mention smelling her hair around behind the ear as well!

Alright, so the way to a woman’s heart is through a stubble. And the way to a man’s heart is through is stomach.
Uh-uh, somewhere, all this doesn’t make sense. Whatever happened to the good old fashioned thing called romanticism?
Like presenting a rose to the lady? Does the stubble beat the rose???
Who knows…..?? Fact is, women don’t know! Your dealing with an extremely mercurial creature and even they (if they are bing candid) cannot tell you why they sometimes do things.
I experimented with all head and beard hair lengths while single recently. My findings on facial hair exactly line up with the above article. I am not allways on the pull. If I want to challenge the lady I am with to see if she really likes me I would either let it grow a bit or shave it off.
If I am on the pull then stubble wins hands down. How long? Guys! make it as short as you can without it it hurting the back of your hand if you draw it across. They do not like long and they do not like being pricked (sandpapered) either. So use your immagination (feminine side). Would I kiss that?
If you do clean shave, then go the whole hog with tripple blade to undercut, because a 12 hour growth would hurt sensitive skin like hell. It might be the primordal stuff too but women are practical. Very clean shaven is pratical, 3mm is soft, longer is uncool, 0.1 - 2.0 mm would be hell to kiss. The modern beard trimmer on its closest setting works fine, the technology cannot make your beard too short. Do use a razor to clean shave the margins or you will look like a tramp.
For head hair the shortest you are comfortable with is best. Long at the back is good, but while you grow that pig tail you might as well live in a monastry. So look a Sean Connery and learn something.
